About RSS What are RSS Feeds? RSS (Real Simple Syndication) feeds are a convenient spam-free way to track new materials, news, or other content that is updated periodically. To read the material delivered in a feed, you need an RSS reader or news aggregator (see ‘Find an RSS Reader’ below). To subscribe to a library feed, click the orange RSS button; in the page that appears, copy the url and paste it into your reader. Or simply drag the orange RSS button into your reader. The method you use depends on your reader. See the instructions for the reader. Find an RSS Reader Wikipedia's News Aggregator article lists some current Web-based feed readers and feed reader apps. A google search for best feed readers will return several articles to help you select the best one for you. RSS Feeds
